Faiz Muhammad

Faiz Muhammad (born 23 September 1937, died on 29 October 2014) was a Pakistani former wrestler who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1]

Captain Faiz Muhammad, an ace wrestler and a legend of Pakistan, borne 23 September 1937, died on 29 October 2014 at Gujranwala. He won three consecutive Gold medals in 1962, 66, 70 common wealth Games, Asian Gold Medalist, Pakistan Champion in different weight categories from 1957 to 1984. Represented Pakistan in three Olympic games in the 1956 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics. He was awarded Presidential award and was flag bearer in SAF games. An international referee and coached Pakistan team.
