Muhammad Hasan Mahmud
Dr. Muhammad Hasan Mahmud (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ হাছান মাহমুদ; born 5 June 1963) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Chittagong-7 and chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Environment and Forests. Prior to his current position Mr Mahmud was the Minister for the Ministry of Environment and Forests of Bangladesh [1][2] He was the MP for Chittagong-6 from 2008 until 2014,[3] Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from January to July 2009 in Sheikh Hasina's cabinet, and then Minister of State for Environment and Forests until 2013.[4][5][6]
