The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh (MCC) also known as Chandigarh Municipal Corporation is the civic body that governs the planned city of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana.[1][2][3] There are 26 elected councillors and 9 nominated councillors.[4] Arun Sood is current Mayor, Davesh Moudgil senior Deputy Mayor and Hardeep Singh' is Deputy Mayor.[5][6]
