NEO Prime is a prime channel of the Neo Sports Broadcast Network. This channel is focused on cricket, football, tennis, table tennis and basketball. From 2006, this channel has been the mainstay of millions of viewers as prime and popular sports are covered here. While cricket rules the roost because of its following, the other sports have been popular because the coverage is both wide and intense.

Fed Cup is the premier international team competition in women’s tennis. Launched in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Cricket

The BPL is a 20-20 round robin format, annual international premier cricket league of Bangladesh which attracts top players from cricket playing nations. A highly competitive league where 8 top clubs vie with each other to emerge champions, the tournament is rated as the second most popular league after India’s IPL with several foreign players in the club teams. The champions Comilla Victorians in 2015, came out with an incredible performance to smash all other clubs to emerge victorious. The BPL is held normally in November-December.

This is a T20 format, competitive and very combative tournament played between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. This tournament is played in Sharjah, and is gaining popularity in the desert land of the UAE. After the recent defeat of Zimbabwe at the hands of minnows Afghanistan, the tournament has gained more prominence.

Table Tennis

The ITTF World Tour is a series of table tennis tournaments introduced by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) in 1996. It includes 6 events: men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and men’s and women’s singles under 21. The Tour has its own points system, players accumulate points based on their performance in the tournaments they participate in. The top players who gained most points might be invited to the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals at the end of the year.

Basketball

FIBA , the International Basketball Federation, is the world governing body for basketball. Founded in 1932, it brings together 215 National Basketball Federations from all over the world. The body organizes and oversees international competitions that include the FIBA Basketball World Cup and Olympic Basketball Tournament.
