NWA Mississippi Heavyweight Championship
This article is about the modern-day version of the NWA Mississippi Heavyweight Championship. For territory-era version used by the National Wrestling Alliance's Gulf Coast territory, see NWA Mississippi Heavyweight Championship (Gulf Coast version).
The NWA Mississippi Heavyweight Championship is the heavyweight title of Mississippi sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance. The title was formerly defended in the NWA Mississippi promotion from its inception in 1999 through 2002, and since 2002 has been in NWA Battle Zone Championship Wrestling, its current home promotion, which is based in Magee, Mississippi.[1] The current champion is Bryan Rival who won it on February 5, 2011.
