Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh

Narayanpur town (Hindi: नारायणपुर) is the administrative headquarters of Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh state in central India, which is one of the two new districts created on May 11, 2007. It was carved out from the erstwhile Bastar district.

The whole Narayanpur is very much affected by the Naxalites and this is the main reason that the tribes of this region are unaware from the World Wide Development but Ramakrishna Mission started in 1985 have done remarkable work in the composing of these tribes. There are Schools, Playground, Swings, Stadium for the tribes.
