Nathaniel Lamont "Nate" Williams (born July 7, 1977 North Little Rock, Arkansas )

Nathaniel “Nate” Williams was born in a small town, England Arkansas, but now resides in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Nate’s talent was sparked at a very young age where he would “crack jokes” on members of his church congregation, ultimately resulting in his punishment for actions. Ironically, his community began to take notice and would always express that he was destined for greatness as a comedian. To no surprise, Nate was considered to be the “class clown”in high school and the lunch period was often turned into his rendition of Def Comedy Jam. Post-graduation, Nathaniel found his way to a local comedy club called The Looney Bin, located in the Little Rock Area and it was there that he actually fell in love with comedy!!! Experience/Achievements Nate began gaining experience on the stage by competing in comedy competitions at the Looney Bin where he was consistent in advancing to the finals. Although he didn’t win the completion, he never gave up on his dream and he knew, that one day, he would be able to obtain the victory. Afterwards, Nate decided to take his talent on the road and entered a competition 200 miles away from Little Rock, Arkansas. This competition consisted of 16 comics and Nate was able to pull off the victory, unanimously by the crowd. He returned home and advised the local comedy club of his victory, however, they were still apprehensive. They encouraged Nate to take advantage of the Open Mic events they hosted and he obliged and diminished their disbelief. Owners took notice at how quickly Nate’s fan base increased and the huge number of supports he had at his performances. Soon after, the owners of the local club took more of an interest in his talent and surprised him with the opportunity to be an opening act for the legendary Tommy Davidson on two different occasions. Meeting the approval of Mr. Davidson, the owners at the Looney Bin sought it fit to allow Nate the opportunity to perform on a weekly basis. With each performance his fan based increased, proven by the increase number of participation. Soon, Nate was presented with another opportunity to open for another legend Mr. J. Anthony Brown and to no surprise, Nate received a standing ovation after the completion of his set. Recently, Nate headlined his own show, which was a live DVD taping, called UNDERRATED. This show sold out in 72 hours naming him the first comedian EVER to sell out at the Looney Bin Club. Afterwards, Nate was provided the opportunity to perform at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City and also made history by being the FIRST African American Comedian to perform at the famous Rib Room in Hot Springs, Arkansas during its annual fundraising event to raise money for the tornado victims in Arkansas which generated over $1500. As you can see, Nate Williams is a one-of-a-kind comedian who is talented in his own right. His tenacity, persistence, Love for God, originality and dedication to his craft makes him a “force to be reckoned with.” His style of comedy isn’t one that is socially biased or degrading, but, instead, is about his own life story and his experiences which makes for great comedy! Nathaniel is a stand up kind of guy and is always honest about his experiences. Let the record reflect, Nate always promises to “Tell the truth…Nothing but the Truth….So Help Me…”
