The National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) is a research centre of its parent organisation, the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) providing for scientific research and increased knowledge in atmospheric science in the United Kingdom.[3]
The NCAS performs research into climate change, air quality, weather and atmospheric modelling. [4][5] NCAS employs over 130 members of staff across 19 organisations, and is headquartered at the University of Leeds [6][7]
