Nikil Saval

Nikil Saval is an American writer, editor and journalist.

Career

Nikil Saval is a Philadelphia-based writer. He is an editor for n+1 and was previously an editorial assistant for two publishing companies.[1] He is represented by the literary agent Edward Orloff at McCormick & Williams.

His first book, Cubed: A Secret History of the Workplace, was published in 2014, and is a history of the workplace, chiefly focusing on the long-term rise of the office from its roots in nineteenth century 'counting houses' to contemporary 'cubicles' where 60% of Americans work, along with an analysis of how such workplaces could be improved in the future. It was published by Doubleday in a “significant deal" i.e. low to mid six figures.[2]
