Nirmala College of Engineering is an engineering college situated in Meloor, Thrissur District of Kerala, India. The college is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, and the University of Calicut.[1][2]
About
Nirmala College of Engineering (NiCE), the latest venture of Nirmala Group, is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the University of Calicut, established to provide technical education to create Indian engineers. The Nirmala group of institutions managed by Nirmala Educational Trust, was established in 1954. The college is situated on the banks of Chalakudy river and in the valleys of Athirappilly-Vazhachal range.

Facilities
Library The library stocks books prescribed by the university syllabus and additional texts for reference. The library subscribes to journals and magazines. In tandem with the library is a Digital Library. It hosts a collection of CD-ROMs, DVDs etc covering topics relevant to Engineering. .
Computer Centre The Computer Centre at The Nirmala College has high speed internet access and is open to the staff and students on all days except Sundays and public holidays.
Cafeteria The institution has a cafeteria serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Transportation Day-scholars have a college bus facility. There are buses from Vadanappilly, Triprayar, Irinjalakuda, Mala, Kodungallur, Ernakulam, Alwaye, Angamaly, Thrissur etc.
Hostel NiCE provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.

Sports and games There are sports and games facilities like volleyball, basketball, cricket and badminton.
Anti ragging measures The Supreme Court of India has taken the act of ragging very seriously. Anti ragging committee consisting of Senior faculty members and students have been formed to ensure zero ragging.
Prayer Hall
Counseling Centre A counselor is in a position where they can support a student`s desire for higher education or vocation. Counselors are able to do this in a way that teachers who are confined to a certain grade level or subject, for example, are unable to. College has full time counselors, who are ready to hear the problems or questions of students.
