Nonlinear medium
Not to be confused with Non-linear media.
A nonlinear medium is one which is intended to be accessed in a nonlinear fashion. It is the opposite of a Linear Medium.
Examples include:
- a hard drive
- a newspaper
- a phone book
- a dictionary
