Norman Arnold Holmes (1890 – after 1918) was an English football right back who played for Leeds City, Clapton Orient, Huddersfield Town and York City.[1]

Personal life

Holmes served in the Middlesex Regiment during the First World War.[2] He rose to the rank of lance corporal in the Football Battalion,[3] prior to being commissioned into the 21st (Service) Battalion in June 1918.[2]
