"Northern Girl" is a song by the band Prime Minister. It represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. The singers all wore identical white suits. The song was about a girl who appeared to have a heart of ice, but had stolen the heart of the singer.
It performed seventh on the night (following Croatia's Vesna Pisarović with "Everything I Want" and preceding Estonia's Sahlene with "Runaway"). At the close of the voting had received 55 points, placing 10th in a field of 24.
It was succeeded as Russian representative by t.A.T.u. with Ne Ver', Ne Boysia.
