Norwest United AFC is a semi-professional association football club in Auckland, New Zealand. They are currently competing in the AFF/NFF Conference.
The club has a huge women's project in place which is being led by Director of Football Chris Ascott. The women's team currently play in the top tier of women's football for local clubs in New Zealand, the Women's NRFL Premier League. Christian Dawson is in charge of the Women's Development Squad at the club. The women's team has featured some of New Zealand Football's age-group and senior international players in the past two seasons, most notably Olympique Lyonnais Goalkeeper, Erin Nayler.
The current men's head coach is Luke McIntyre. The former Colo Boys FC and Brisbane Olympic coach joined the club at the conclusion of the 2016 campaign with a plan to rebuild the first-team and reserves and get the club into the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 2 by 2018. Luke, 23, is the youngest coach in the top five New Zealand Football divisions.
