Future development
In 2009, as part of the Maroondah Education Coalition a proposal was discussed where Norwood and Parkwood Secondary Colleges may merge and be rebuilt at a single site. In 2010, it was announced that these plans were not supported by the school communities and did not proceed. Norwood Secondary College is now seeking Government funding for upgraded and new facilities to be built at its current location in Byron Street.
