The Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo (Owls of Nuevo Laredo) formerly known as the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (Owls of the Two Laredos) were a Mexican Baseball League team that played in the Zona Norte (Northern Division) of the Mexican League. The Ciudad Deportiva's Estadio Nuevo Laredo was their home baseball park and had a capacity of 12,000 fans. Baseball returned to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas for the 2008 season when the Rieleros de Aguascalientes were transferred to Nuevo Laredo as the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo;[1] the team previously known as the Tecolotes had relocated to Tijuana and become the Potros de Tijuana four years earlier. It was announced in March 2011 that the Tecolotes would not play in the 2011-2012 season and might return for the 2013 season. The owner was trying to sell the team to León, Guanajuato.[2] On November 22, 2011 the team was sold to a Colombian investor and the team was transferred to Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.[3]
