Nylon Guys is an American magazine devoted to men's fashions published by Nylon magazine. Its coverage includes art, music, design, technology, men's fashion and travel. It is a branch off of Nylon with a focus on the interests of guys.
History
Nylon Guys was founded in 2004 by the original creator of Nylon, Jaclynn Jarrett. It began by being included with Nylon's September and March issues but is now its own individual publication.[1]
There has been a relevant increase in the publication of men's fashion magazines. Nylon is just one magazine publication that has decided to offer a men's offshoot of an already established publication, such as Men's Vogue.
The Executive Editor for the magazine is currently Luke Crisell who also holds the same position for Nylon. Initially only offered twice a year with Nylon, Nylon Guys is now published seasonally. Its circulation is 110,000.[1]
Nylon Guys has featured a variety of celebrity men on their covers, including Jesse Eisenberg,[2] Gerard Way,[3] Joseph Gordon-Levitt,[4] and Pharrell Williams.[5] The most recently featured in January 2011 was Michael Pitt.[6]
Nylon Guys moved online-only in 2015.[7]
