Occupy Money Cooperative
The Occupy Money Cooperative was established by a group of volunteers who first met as the Occupy movement's Alternative Banking Working Group, established in the early days of Occupy Wall Street in Zuccotti Park.[1] Shortly thereafter, the group split off as Occupy Bank Working Group. [2] In 2013, The Coop have announced that they would release an Occupy debit card to compete with major financial institutions but the card never reached fruition.[3]
