Rural Municipality of Old Post No. 43
Old Post No. 43 (2006 Population 394) is a rural municipality in southern Saskatchewan, Canada encompassing 1,757.00 square kilometers in area. The rural municipality in conjunction with the provincial government is in charge of maintenance of highways in its area. As well, the municipality provides policing, fire protection and municipal governance for the rural district, with a reeve as its administrator.
The RM's southern boundary is the United States border with Valley County and Daniels County in Montana.
Demographics
In 2006, Old Post No. 43 had a population of 394 in 168 dwellings, a -17.1% decrease from 2001. On a surface of 1,757.00 km² it has a density of 0.2 inhabitants/km².[1]

Heritage Properties
There is one heritage building located within the rural municipality:
- Elm Springs Roumanian Orthodox Church - Constructed in 1926, the church is in the Elma Springs area. Originally constructed by Roumanian immigrants and originally called the Ascension of Our Lord Church it played an important role in the community. Today it is only used for a few services per year.[10]
