Oncotheca is a genus of tree endemic to New Caledonia. There are two species,[2] O. macrocarpa and O. balansae.

Oncotheca is placed alone in family Oncothecaceae. This family has previously been placed in the Theales order, and in its own order, Oncothecales, but is currently placed in order Icacinales.[3][4]
