Óscar Oswaldo Cortés Navarro (born June 25, 1993 in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico) is an undefeated Mexican professional boxer and is considered one of the best prospects in the Super Featherweight division.[1][2] Cortés is promoted by current WBC Champion, Mexican Saúl Álvarez' company Canelo Promotions.[3]

Amateur career

During his amateur career Óscar won a bronze medal at the 2007 National Olympic Championships in the Featherweight division.[4]

Professional career

In April 2010, Cortés beat Jorge Hernandez in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.[5]
