Career
Owen McGee started his playing career at his hometown club Middlesbrough as an apprentice, before breaking into the first team in the 1989-90 season. He went on to play for Scarborough and Guisborough Town before retiring. He currently coaches youngsters in the Middlesbrough area.[1]

- Full Members Cup: Runner up 1989–90 with Middlesbrough

- Middlesbrough fans used to sing "He's fat, he's round, he's worth a million pounds, Owen McGee! Owen McGee!", in appreciation for the hometown player.
- He is now a Database Administrator in North Yorkshire.
