Palaeolepidopterix is an extinct genus of small primitive metallic moths within the extant family Micropterigidae or extinct family Eolepidopterigidae, containing one species, Palaeolepidopterix aurea.[1] It is known from the Late Jurassic (Oxfordian - Kimmeridgian) Karabastau Svita of Kazakhstan.
