Paombong High School is a private secondary school established in Paombong, Bulacan. It is a non-sectarian school for boys and girls that was founded in the year 1947.

History

Paombong High School is the first private secondary school established in Paombong, Bulacan. It is a non-sectarian school for boys and girls. On June 21, 1947, permission of operation of classes was filed in the Bureau of Private Schools. On July 3, 1947, government authority was granted to Paombong High School through Temporary Permit no. 1049 to operate classes of the first three years of the General Secondary Curriculum. On June 28, 1948, the first, second, and the third years were recognized by the government. Simultaneous to this Government Recognition of the first three curriculum years, permission to operate the fourth year was filed in the Office of the Director Of the Bureau of Private Schools. On March 14, 1950, the school received Government Recognition No. 562 for the complete Government Recognition, Paombong High School has been operating complete classes of the General Secondary curriculum.

School Seal And Motto

Throughout its more than half century of existence, Paombong High School has fulfilled its mission and trust of providing quality instruction by adhering to the "Total Human Development Policy" of education. The school's logo symbolizes this educational policy.

1. Laurel Leaves - symbolizes the school's commitment to the academic excellence, its pursuit of overcoming the burden of illiteracy in the community and its vow of helping parents rear their children to the utmost.

2. Circle - Symbolizes the learning environment wherein the administrators, teachers, and students mutually interact for optimum intellectual, mental, emotional, social, and physical growth.

3. Cross - symbolizes the school'd adherence to the strengthening of faith in the almighty and the development of spiritual values that will contribute to the student's maturity and well-being as a true Christian.

4. Flaming Torch - symbolizes the institution's motive of enlightening its clientele, the students, in all of life's aspects, cognitive as well as attitudinal.

5. Open Book, Pen and Ink - symbolize the school's intention of imparting knowledge and eventually wisdom to its students. it also aims to develop in each student a value system based on human dignity and worth.

6. "Ad Jesum Per Mariam" - symbolizes our love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It deeply encourage their faculty, staff, and students to be "Mary-like" in attitude - simple, obedient, and God-fearing. It is in this context " To Jesus through Mary" that they hope to offer all their undertakings, endeavors, and aspirations.

7. "Faith, Truth, And Integrity " - symbolizes the three core values of the school that must be observed in and outside of the institution.
