Parivṛttatrikoṇāsana

Parivrtta Trikonasana is an Asana Yoga pose. It is translated as Revolved Triangle Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "parivrtta" meaning "revolved", "tri" meaning "three", "kona" meaning "angle" and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2][3][4] This pose is a variation of Trikonasana or Triangle Pose.

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has the following benefits: increases spinal flexibility, stimulates the internal organs, promotes the sense of balance, stretches the hamstrings and the outer hips.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have spinal cord injuries, neck, lower back, hamstring or hip injuries.[1][2][3][4]
