Park Kyung-Wan (born July 11, 1972 in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea) is a former South Korean baseball catcher and Current General 2nd manager of SK Wyverns in the Korea Baseball Organization. and former Olympic bronze medalist.

Professional career

1991–1997

Park started out his career as a member of the Ssangbangwool Raiders.

1998–2002

Park was then traded to the Hyundai Unicorns, where he played for the next 5 seasons. It was there where he had his arguably best season of his career, hitting 0.282 and 40 home runs in one season.

2009

Park represented the Korean national baseball team in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, leading his team to second place. A four-time Golden Glove winner, Park is considered by many to be one of the best catchers in Korean baseball history.

2010

In his 2010 season, Park became the first catcher in Korean baseball history to accomplish 300 career home runs.

2013

Since 2013, Park has worked as a General 2nd Manager for the SK Wyverns.
