The Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Turkmen: Senagatçylar we Telekeçiler partiýasy) is a political party in Turkmenistan. The party was established in August 2012 as first legal opposition party in this country.[2] On 10 June 2013, party leader Ovezmammed Mammedov was elected to the Assembly of Turkmenistan in a by-election held for five vacant seats. The party is widely seen as a tool of the ruling DPT to prevent criticism over Turkmenistan being a single-party state rather than having an actual opposition party.[3]
