Pascal Kaufmann is a technology entrepreneur[1] and neuroscientist[2] based in Zurich, Switzerland. Together with Prof. Dr. Rolf Pfeifer, he has initiated and developed[3] a humanoid robot called Roboy at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Zurich. Roboy combines latest insights from the field of embodied intelligence research and the most recent advances in the field of robotics.[4] As a former advisory board member and senior researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Zurich, Pascal has contributed to various neural interfacing projects aiming at unlocking the secrets of artificial neural networks, cyborg technology and artificial intelligence.[5]
Pascal is also Founder of the "SiROP" institution,[6] which is installed at various leading European universities aiming at identifying and developing outstanding talents.
