Patricia Bovey (born May 15, 1948) is a Canadian art historian from Manitoba. Bovey is a former director of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, a former member of the board of trustees for the National Gallery of Canada. She also sat on the board of the Canada Council for the Arts. On October 27, 2016, Bovey was named to the Senate of Canada by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to sit as an independent.[1] Bovey assumed her seat on November 10, 2016.
