Patrick Mackaronis (born April 6, 1984) is an American marketer, Internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of social networking website Brabble. A golf athlete at Monmouth University from 2002 to 2006, Patrick graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing and public relations.

Early years and education

Patrick was born in Port Jervis, New York, the son of parents Greg and Barbara Mackaronis. A high-level student, he graduated from Port Jervis High School in 2002, where he was a four-year letter winner on the golf team. He then attended Monmouth University, where he was a member of the golf team.[1] He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing and Public Relations. At Monmouth, Patrick mainly attended marketing, business, management, and public speaking classes.

Career

Patrick began his career by starting PM Marketing in January 2003, while still attending college. PM Marketing produced live events at many venues in the northeastern United States. While running PM Marketing, Patrick also purchased and flipped Jr's Restaurant in New York. The following year, he partnered with a co-worker in the purchase and sale of Deep Nightclub in New Jersey. After selling PM Marketing in September 2011, Patrick started PGM Consulting, acting as a consulting service for privately owned corporations and small businesses.[2]

Brabble

In January 2013, Patrick founded Brabble with several co-founders. Brabble began with an idea to interact via cell phones’ video cameras, allowing users to argue and debate political views (hence the name, deriving from a slang for the word 'argument'). The concept pivoted and expanded, and Brabble evolved into far more. Today, Brabble allows you to post any form of media chosen, as well as replying to posts (Brabble Back) with audio, video, pictures, and text.[3]

Brabble differs from other social networks in that they offer revenue for investors right off the bat. This revenue model centers around star tags, which work similarly to affiliate links. These tags allow the development team to post programmable links into posts that can be shared to Facebook and Twitter. When the links are clicked, it directs traffic to destinations relating to e-commerce. When a sale is made, Brabble collects a small percentage revenue share from the advertiser, which is distributed to investors.[4][5]

Publications

On August 29, 2016, Patrick published Patrick Mackaronis - Favorite Quotes for Team Success through Kindle Direct Publishing.[6] The short digital book contains a listing of some of the most memorable quotes he has utilized for motivation and success since starting Brabble.

Philanthropy

Through Brabble, Patrick Mackaronis has donated to World Autism Awareness Day. A strong supporter of autism awareness, Brabble has hosted over a dozen charity events to raise money for causes such as Autism Speaks, Autism Awareness Month, the Autism Society of America and Light It Up Blue.

Personal life

Patrick lives in New York City, currently residing in Manhattan on Sixth Avenue, close to the Brabble headquarters. His hobbies include reading and golfing. He is an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and New York Rangers hockey team. Patrick loves working hard to expand his business daily, and has a Himalayan cat Naples.
