Patrick Richard (born January 25, 1990) is an American basketball player who plays for Maccabi Rishon LeZion of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Richard played collegiate with the McNeese State Cowboys for four seasons. Richard usually plays at the small forward position.
College career
Richard played four years for the McNeese State Cowboys basketball team. In his senior year, Richard averaged almost 18 points per game and was named the Southland Conference Player of the Year.
Professional career
Richard started his professional career in the NBA Development League. On November 2, 2012, the Iowa Energy selected him in Round 7 with Pick 9 in the 2012 Annual NBA Development League Draft.[1] On November 21, the club placed him on waivers. The remainder of the season, Richard played in the South East Australian Basketball League for Sandringham Sabres.
For the 2013-14 season, Richard signed with Matrixx Magixx in the Dutch Basketball League.[2] Richard got a place in the All-DBL Team after the season.[3]
On June 11, 2014 Richard signed with German BBL team Mitteldeutscher BC.[4]
In June 2015, Richard signed with Reims Champagne Basket.[5]
In July 2016, Richard signed with the Israeli Basketball Premier League champion, Maccabi Rishon LeZion.
