Dr Paul Irwing is a Reader in organisational psychology at the University of Manchester. He is currently a member of the editorial board of Intelligence, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. His D.Phil. was completed in 1992, and integrated goal-setting, job characteristics and self-concept theories of work motivation. Paul Irwing is the co-discoverer of two major gender differences presented in six articles in Intelligence, two articles in the British Journal of Psychology and one article in Nature. He has a total of 50+ publications including 20 journal articles and has presented 30 conference papers/invited lectures.
