Pawling Corporation
The Pawling Corporation is a United States manufacturer of rubber and plastic products, including impact protection systems, entrance mats, athletic flooring, parking/traffic safety products, inflatable seals, compression molded seals, septa, and other custom rubber products. The company's Engineered Products Division is ISO9001-2008 certified (since 1994) and is certified to 10CFR50 Appendix B, which is used to control part quality for nuclear power plants.
Pawling's wholly owned subsidiary, Presray Corporation, manufactures watertight, security and airtight doors.

History
In 1945, Pawling Rubber Corporation, a small rubber extrusion business with fifteen employees opened in Pawling, New York, to make gaskets for military ammunition cases. After World War II, the company diversified into plastics processing. In the mid-50s, Pawling Rubber Corporation entered into two alliances: it acquired Presray Corporation, which had developed a line of inflatable grippers to handle fragile unfired grinding wheels, and formed an extrusion licensing agreement with the French firm FLT.
In the 1960s, the combined companies established standard wall and corner guards for the architectural market and expanded their inflatable seal business. Midway through the decade, Pawling diversified into mill mixing and extruding of high-purity silicone (then an elastomer) for electrical wire and cable insulation. By the end of the decade, the company had branched out into molding of silicone and plastics. The company shortened its name to Pawling Corporation in 1987.
