Location

Penitencia Creek is a light rail station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This station is served by VTA's Alum Rock-Santa Teresa line.

The station was opened in 2004 as part of VTA's Capitol light rail extension.[1]

Location

Penitencia Creek station is located in the median of North Capitol Avenue, just south of Penitencia Creek Road in San Jose, California.

Westbound toward Santa Teresa (Berryessa)
Eastbound toward Alum Rock (McKee)

Station amenities

Connecting transit

VTA Bus Route 36, which previously served this station, was discontinued on January 14, 2008 as a result of updates to VTA bus service. VTA Bus Routes 62 and 64 no longer serve this station due to these updates.
