Peranbu is an upcoming Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Ram and produced by P. L. Thenappan. The film features Mammootty and Anjali in the lead roles. Featuring music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film began production in early 2016.

Production
Ram began negotiations with Mammootty to star in his film during early 2015 and the pair agreed to work together by February 2016.[1] Anjali was signed on to appear in the film. Director Ram's next film with Mammootty and Anjali will begin its shoots by the 15th of October. The start of the project was delayed until late 2015, as a result of Ram's commitments with Taramani and acting assignment, Savarakathi. Sadhana, the child artiste from Ram's Thanga Meengal (2013), was also cast in the film.
