Phaq'u Q'awa (Aymara phaq'u, paqu, p'aqu light brown, reddish, fair-haired, dark chestnut, q'awa little river, ditch, crevice, fissure, gap in the earth,[2][3] "brown brook" or "brown ravine", hispanicized spelling Pacocahua, also Pajojañua)[1][4][5] is a 4,796 metres (15,735 ft) high mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is located in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. It lies west of a lake named Aqhuya Ch'alla (Ajuachaya, Pasto Grande) and southeast of Wila Wilani (or Ch'ankha Qullu).[4]
