Phrynobatrachus minutus is a species of frog in the Petropedetidae family. It is native to Ethiopia and introduced to Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
