Phrynobatrachus versicolor is a species of frog in the Petropedetidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rivers, intermittent rivers, and swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss.
