Pim Jacobs
Willem Bernard "Pim" Jacobs (October 29, 1934 – July 3, 1996) was a Dutch jazz pianist and television presenter. Born in Hilversum, he worked with Louis van Dijk and Rogier van Otterloo also Wes Montgomery. He married jazz singer Rita Reys in 1960.
Jacobs became famous with the Pim Jacobs Trio, which included Wim Overgaauw, his brother, bassist Ruud Jacobs and Peter Ypma. He played for charity with van Dijk and Pieter van Vollenhoven. For television, he hosted the music shows Music-All-In and Music Hall, and the game show Babbelonië.
Pim Jacobs died of cancer, in Tienhoven (Maarssen).
