Plebejus (also spelled Plebeius) is a genus of butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. Many genera formerly considered independent are at least tentatively included here nowadays, and some othersAgriades, Albulina, Icaricia, Aricia, and Lycaeidesmay belong herein too. The species of this genus are found in the Palearctic and Nearctic realms.
