Praveen (born Bellamkonda Praveen on 8 January 1980) is a Telugu actor known for his comic roles in movies like Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Shambo Shiva Shambo, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, Mirapakay, Karthikeya[1] and others.

Early life

Praveen was born in Antervedi town in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, he finished his schooling from AFDT high school and pursued his graduation from M.V.N, J.S & R.V.R college, Malikipuram and later moved to Hyderabad to pursue his career as an actor.

Career

He made his debut as a comedian in movie Kotha Bangaru Lokam with stars like Varun Sandesh, Shweta Prasad, Prakash Raj, Jaya Sudha and Brahmanandam and was directed by Srikanth Addala which won 2 Nandi Awards.[2] Later, Praveen went on and starred in various other movies with stars like Ravi Teja, Ram, Naga Chaitanya, Manchu Manoj and Pawan Kalyan.

Recently, has had comic roles in movies like Rowdy Fellow [3][4][5] Alludu Seenu [6] and his association with actor Sudheer Babu in film Mosagallaku Mosagadu.[7][8][9] In year 2016, Praveen has been seen in movies like Oopiri [10]
