Prince Charles Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty'r Tywysog Siarl) is an NHS district hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Known simply as the Gurnos District Hospital during its planning and construction, it opened in 1978.
It is located adjacent to the Gurnos housing estate.
The Hospital is managed by Cwm Taf University Health Board (formerly Cwm Taf NHS Trust). The hospital has undergone several phases of refurbishment including the opening of a new Emergency Care Centre with the final phase of work approved by the Welsh Government in October 2013.
