Pritam Gopinathrao Munde (born 17 February 1983) is a Member of Parliament of India. She was elected in a bye-election for the Beed (Lok Sabha constituency) in 2014, with a margin of 6,96,321 votes - the highest ever in India's electoral history.[1][2] She is the second daughter of former BJP leader Gopinath Munde.[3][4]

Early life

Pritam was born on 17 February 1983 to Central Cabinet Minister Late Gopinath Munde and Pradnya Munde. She has one elder siter Pankaja Munde and younger sister Yashashari. She completed her graduation and also holds an MBA Degree. She is a niece of late Pramod Mahajan, and a cousin to Rahul Mahajan and Poonam Mahajan. NCP leader Dhananjay Munde leader is also her cousin.

Her father, Gopinath Munde, died of road accident at New Delhi on 3 June 2014.[5]
