Pseudidonauton nigribasis is a species of moth of the Limacodidae family. It is found in India.[1]

The larvae feed on Dalbergia species and are found on the undersides of the leaflets. They resemble a greenish lump of fat. Pupation takes place in a pupa which is enclosed in a nearly spherical, hard, red-brown cocoon which is covered with yellow silk. It is found between leaflets and is attached to it with the yellow silk.[2]
