Putatan is a town and a suburb of Kota Kinabalu in the state of Sabah, Malaysia as well as the main secondary town in the district of Penampang.

Location

The town was located within the district of Penampang on the West Coast Division which was in turn, a satellite town of the city of Kota Kinabalu together with neighbouring Petagas town.

Population

As of 2010, it has an estimated population of 54,733.[1]

INTI College Sabah

INTI College Sabah Campus of Kota Kinabalu has its campus in Putatan town.
