Pyershamayski District (Belarusian: Першамайскі, Russian: Первомайский, Pervomaysky Raion), is an adiministrative subdivision of the city of Minsk, Belarus. named after the 1st of May.[1]
Geography
The district is situated in the north-eastern area of the city and borders with the raions Savyetski and Partyzanski.
Main sights
The National Library of Belarus is located in Pyershamayski. Its octagonal structure is present in the coat of arms. In Chelyuskinites Park is located the "Children's Railroad".
Transport
The district is served by the subway line "Moskovskaya". It is also crossed by the beltway "MKAD".
