Quail Lake is an artificial lake in Los Angeles County, California. It is located in the San Andreas Rift Zone along the north side of State Route 138, and serves as a regulatory storage body for the West Branch California Aqueduct, helping the aqueduct water cross the fault safely.
Centennial planned community
A planned community called Centennial is supposed to be built on a portion of nearby Tejon Ranch adjacent to Neenach, and to be centered on Quail Lake. Centennial is planned to have eight neighborhoods and to provide over 30,000 local jobs. The developers expect that the community will grow to 70,000 residents over 20 years.
