RNB Global University in Bikaner has been established by the Ram Bajaj Foundation, who have made their foray into the educational arena through this zero profit venture. The University has been approved vide Act No. 20 of the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha. The University has also been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the maiden academic batch of the University will commence from June 2015.

The University is spread on a 300-acre campus and offers courses in various disciplines. All the degrees and certificates issued by the University have been approved by the UGC.

Accreditations and recognition

The University has been approved by the Government of the Rajasthan by Act No. 20 of the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha and has been notified vide F.2(20)Vidhi/2/2015 dated 27 April’15.

The various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses offered by the University in various academic streams have been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The University is a member of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).

Campus

The University has adapted several eco-friendly measures such as rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, water treatment plants and usage of solar panels to make it environment friendly premises.

Safety measures

The University has created statutes that enforce a complete and total ban on smoking and consumption of alcohol and narcotic substances within the campus. The University also adheres to a strict anti-ragging policy. The campus also deploys high ended security techniques developed by Hewlett-Packard that is aimed to curb unsolicited entry, prevent illegal activities and ensure utmost safety of women.
