Rahul Kohli (born 13 November 1985) is an English television, film and stage actor. He currently stars as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in iZombie.

Early Life

Rahul Kohli was born in London, England to Hindu immigrant parents of Indian origin.[1] His mother was born and raised in Thailand and his father is from Kenya.[2] He began acting as a young boy in school plays. At age 17, he decided to pursue acting as a career, going on to study media studies at Uxbridge College, and later attending drama school where he trained in stage performing.

Career

After completing school, Kohli found an agent and began working in television, making appearances in established series EastEnders and Holby City, as well as advertisements for major brands, such as Sony and Heineken. Although no longer his focus, he continued to work on the stage as well, including a period of time at the Royal National Theatre working with acclaimed director Howard Davies.

Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, he won a lead role in the television series iZombie playing Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti.
