Raja Hasan Sagar is an Indian playback singer was born in December 1979 in the city of Bikaner, Rajasthan, India.[1][2] He was a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, in which he finished as runner-up to Aneek Dhar.[3][4][5]
Early years
Raja Hasan comes from the desert city of Bikaner, Rajasthan. He considers his father Rafik Sagar and his grandfather Allah Rakha Khan as his gurus in singing.[6]
Raja Hasan was a runner up in the reality TV show [[Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007]] and winner of Ek Se Badhkar Ek on Zee TV, Ustaado Ke Ustad on Sony and IPL Rock Star on the Colors channel.[7] He became a known name in the Hindi music industry after the success of these shows. Nevertheless, his big Bollywood moment came when ace music director duo, Vishal-Shekhar recognized his talent and gave him a break in the movie De Taali to sing the blockbuster song 'Mari Teetri'. The song went on to become one of the hits of the year and established him as a professional playback singer.[8]
